Newborn Photographer near Ramstein Air Base

Those first newborn days disappear faster than anyone warns you. I capture them gently and unhurried, right in your own home near Ramstein — and we speak English the whole way through.

Your first days in Germany, beautifully kept

As an English-speaking newborn photographer near Ramstein Air Base, I photograph KMC and military families during the most fleeting weeks of all — your baby's first days. Whether you just PCS'd in, delivered at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), or already have orders to move on, these are memories worth slowing down for.

Every newborn session happens in your own home — on base or off. You won't have to bundle a days-old baby into the car and drive across town; I bring everything to you and work entirely around your baby's rhythm, with plenty of time for feeding, changing and cuddles. No studio, no rush, no stress.

My style is natural and honest rather than stiff and posed: soft window light, calm tones, and the real closeness between you and your little one. Some of the best frames happen almost by accident — your newborn asleep on Dad's chest, a big sibling gently holding a tiny hand, a contented little sigh.

I've photographed families across the Kaiserslautern area for years and understand military life here — short-notice moves, deployments, and homecomings. Wherever your orders take you next, the photos of these first days stay with you for good.

How your newborn session works

Relaxed, patient and entirely studio-free — here's what an in-home newborn session looks like for families near Ramstein, Landstuhl and the wider KMC.

In your own home

The whole session takes place where you live — on base or off, anywhere around Ramstein, Landstuhl and Kaiserslautern. No studio appointment, no driving a newborn across town.

In the first weeks

The first one to three weeks are ideal, while babies still sleep deeply and curl up easily. It's best to reach out before your due date so we can pencil in a window.

As much time as it takes

A newborn session usually runs one to two hours. We pause whenever your baby needs to feed, settle or be changed — your little one sets the pace.

The whole family

Parents and older siblings are welcome in the photos. For many families, those first pictures all together turn out to be the favorites.

Careful editing

Every chosen image is hand-edited in a warm, natural style. You'll receive your photos in a private online gallery to pick your favorites at your own pace.

Honest pricing

Sessions start at €249 (roughly $270, approximate). Payment is simple — cash with a receipt or bank transfer. As a small business I charge no VAT, so the price is the price.

Getting ready for your session

It helps to get in touch during pregnancy — ideally in your third trimester — so we can reserve a window around your due date. After your baby arrives, just send me a quick message and we'll find a day within those first precious weeks.

There's nothing special to prepare. A warm room and a comfortable spot near a window with daylight are all we need. Simple, comfortable clothing in calm, neutral colors photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on your baby.

I serve the whole KMC area — Ramstein-Miesenbach, Landstuhl, Kaiserslautern and the surrounding towns, on base and off. If you're a little farther out, just mention your location and we'll sort out the travel.

Have questions about timing, pricing, or how it all works for military families? Send me a message and I'll reply personally — in English — so we can plan everything calmly together.

What families here say

Such a lovely photographer! We had a maternity and newborn shoot with her and both were simply wonderful. With her calm manner, she lets you settle in and you immediately feel comfortable, even if you are not usually in front of the camera. Highly recommended!
