Why "I have them on my phone" isn't a plan

Your phone holds thousands of photos you will almost certainly never look at again. They're not backed up the way you think, they're tied to one account, and "I'll print them eventually" is the most broken promise in family photography. Meanwhile your kids' whole babyhood lives one cracked screen away from gone.

Not all prints are equal — ask me for tips

Here's what most people don't know: print labs differ enormously in quality. A cheap drugstore or big-box print often fades and shifts color within just a few years — greens go yellow, skin tones turn orange. A professional, archival lab prints at higher resolution on paper that holds its color for decades, so the album you make today still looks true when your kids are grown.
